Dr John Cadden

Dr John Cadden is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing physical, mental, and emotional health challenges. Dr Cadden completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, qualifying in 1975. He holds credentials with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. In recognition of his outstanding medical service, particularly his support of scientific programmes with the Australian Antarctic Division Polar Medicine Unit, he was awarded the prestigious Australian Antarctic Medal by the Governor-General in 2016.

Throughout his career, Dr Cadden has gained extensive experience across a broad range of medical settings, including rural practices, international locum positions, and extreme polar environments. These diverse roles have equipped him with a versatile skill set to manage complex clinical scenarios.
