Dr John Aloizos

Dr John Aloizos is a highly respected General Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on patient safety, quality improvement, and equitable access to healthcare, he strives to deliver exceptional medical services to individuals and families. His clinical approach is grounded in fostering trusted relationships with patients, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary to manage their health effectively.

Dr Aloizos completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1975. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD). In recognition of his outstanding contributions to medicine, particularly in medical administration and general practice, he was honoured as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2003.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Aloizos has developed key clinical interests in geriatric medicine, men's health, minor surgery, and disease prevention. He is particularly passionate about health promotion and chronic disease management, helping patients navigate long-term health challenges. Beyond his clinical practice, he has actively contributed to national health policy, advising on digital health, immunisation, clinical governance, and primary healthcare standards to improve the broader healthcare system.
