Dr Jodie Ross

Dr Jodie Ross is a dedicated and highly accomplished General Practitioner who is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a professional philosophy rooted in building strong therapeutic relationships, she supports patients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr Ross believes in empowering individuals through education, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their health concerns to achieve optimal well-being.

Dr Ross completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours before pursuing her medical career, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Queensland in 2009. She gained diverse clinical experience across various medical sub-specialities during her residency as a junior Medical Practitioner. Dr Ross then undertook specialist training through the Australian General Practice Training programme, earning her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. Demonstrating clinical excellence, she was also awarded the prestigious Monty Kent-Hughes Memorial Medal for achieving the highest score in Australia on her clinical examinations.

Drawing on her unique background as a registered Pharmacist, Dr Ross possesses an exceptional understanding of medicines and their role in managing complex health conditions. Her clinical interests span all areas of family medicine, with a particular focus on women's health, adolescent health, and paediatric care. She is highly experienced in supporting new parents as they navigate the challenges of early parenthood. Additionally, Dr Ross is deeply committed to coordinating complex chronic disease management, working collaboratively with patients to streamline their healthcare journeys.
