Dr Joanne Charlier

Dr Joanne Charlier is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is committed to delivering high-quality medical services to individuals and families, ensuring that every patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs. Dr Charlier believes in fostering strong doctor-patient relationships built on trust, empathy, and open communication, helping patients navigate their healthcare journeys with confidence and reassurance.

Dr Charlier completed her medical education at Notre Dame University in Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2012. Prior to her medical degree, she earned a Bachelor of Advanced Science in Medicinal Chemistry with Honours and a Master of Science and Technology in Chemical Analysis. She completed her postgraduate General Practice training in Sydney and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Charlier has also obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health, and a Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Charlier enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has developed particular clinical interests in women's health, paediatrics, and lifestyle and preventative medicine. Her additional certifications enable her to offer specialised care in reproductive and sexual health, as well as primary care dermatology. Dr Charlier is passionate about helping patients implement proactive lifestyle changes to prevent chronic illnesses and maintain long-term well-being.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr Charlier enjoys spending time with her family and embracing rural life. She is actively involved in learning about farming, including managing cattle, sheep, and poultry, and enjoys keeping active outdoors with her four children.
