Dr Jillian Harrington

Dr Jillian Harrington is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life, she delivers high-quality medical services tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Dr Harrington is passionate about fostering long-term relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered in managing their health and well-being.

Dr Harrington completed her medical education at James Cook University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2008. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive General Practice training across south-west rural Queensland, which included specialised training in Emergency Medicine in Toowoomba. She holds prestigious fellowships with both the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In addition to her clinical practice, she contributes to the future of the medical profession by working as a Medical Educator, guiding and mentoring the next generation of doctors completing their General Practice training.

In her clinical practice, Dr Harrington welcomes patients presenting with a broad range of medical concerns. She has developed particular clinical interests in women's health, paediatrics, antenatal care, and chronic disease management, alongside skin medicine. Her holistic approach to healthcare focuses on preventative medicine and evidence-based treatments, helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
