Dr Jerome Ha

Dr Jerome Ha is an Australian-trained Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive, high-quality eye care. As a comprehensive general Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon, Dr Ha has specialised expertise in cataract surgery and medical retina care. He is highly experienced in performing complex cataract and anterior segment surgeries, as well as administering intravitreal injections for conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular oedema, and retinal vein occlusion. Additionally, Dr Ha is skilled in performing various laser procedures, including YAG capsulotomy, YAG peripheral iridotomy, and selective laser trabeculoplasty. His clinical capabilities also extend to oculoplastic surgery, encompassing eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal system procedures.

Dr Ha began his medical journey at The University of Melbourne, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Medical Science. He furthered his academic pursuits by earning a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science from The University of Sydney. Dr Ha completed his specialist training in Ophthalmology at a major eye hospital in Sydney, followed by a fellowship in complex cataract and anterior segment surgery at tertiary trauma hospitals. He also completed an international fellowship in oculoplastic surgery in Shrewsbury, United Kingdom. Dr Ha is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO) and serves as an Examiner for the college. He is also affiliated with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons (ANZSOPS).
