Dr Jennifer Wilson

Dr Jennifer Wilson is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong belief in holistic health, she focuses on understanding each patient's unique circumstances to deliver tailored medical support. Dr Wilson enjoys the diverse nature of General Practice, welcoming patients of all ages and backgrounds, and is committed to fostering long-term, reassuring relationships with those under her care.

In her clinical practice, Dr Wilson has developed a wide range of expertise, with particular interests in women's health, sexual health, and mental health. Her approach integrates physical and emotional well-being, allowing her to support patients through complex health journeys. Additionally, she is highly experienced in managing chronic diseases, geriatric care, and child health, ensuring that every member of the family receives thorough and empathetic medical attention.

Dr Wilson began her academic journey by training in psychology, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which deeply informs her holistic approach to patient care. She then pursued her medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2013. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive postgraduate training, including advanced studies in adult internal medicine. In 2018, she achieved her fellowship as a Rural Generalist General Practitioner and holds professional membership as a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
