Ms Jemma Gillard

Ms Jemma Gillard is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Ms Gillard enjoys all aspects of General Practice, fostering long-term relationships with her patients to support their ongoing health and well-being.

Her clinical interests are diverse, with a strong focus on women's health, reproductive medicine, and paediatrics. Ms Gillard is highly skilled in pregnancy planning, reproductive choices, sexual health, and contraception, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants as well as intrauterine device removals. Additionally, she is experienced in providing shared maternity care, collaborating closely with major maternity hospitals to support expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.

Holding a Diploma in Child Health, Ms Gillard has a particular passion for looking after babies and children, ensuring they receive the best start in life through proactive developmental monitoring and paediatric care. Beyond her clinical practice, she is deeply involved in medical education, serving as a Senior Local Medical Educator. In this role, she helps train and mentor the next generation of General Practice Registrars and medical students, contributing to the future of the medical profession.

Ms Gillard completed her Bachelor of Biomedicine before earning her Doctor of Medicine degree. She also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Child Health to further her expertise in paediatric medicine. As a committed medical professional, she maintains active professional engagement and is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
