Dr Jayasinghe Arachchige Luckmini Thaksala Jayasinghe is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality care to patients of all ages. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering personalised healthcare that addresses both immediate medical concerns and long-term well-being. Dr Jayasinghe enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine, fostering strong, supportive relationships with her patients to guide them through every stage of their health journey.

Before establishing her career in Australia, Dr Jayasinghe gained diverse clinical experience working in both rural and urban settings in Sri Lanka. Her foundational knowledge was built across multiple medical disciplines, including roles in general medicine and general surgical departments at a major teaching hospital. She also served as a Senior Medical Officer in intensive care and anaesthesiology. Upon relocating to Australia, she expanded her clinical expertise by working as a Career Medical Officer within metropolitan emergency departments and a dedicated mental health unit, equipping her with a robust capability to manage acute and complex medical situations.

Dr Jayasinghe completed her medical degree at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, qualifying in 2006. Committed to continuous professional development, she later obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. She has also successfully completed postgraduate examinations in anaesthesiology. Dr Jayasinghe is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her adherence to the highest standards of general practice care.
