Dr Small graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School in 2008 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. During his studies, he was highly regarded for his exceptional technical skills and was awarded the student prize for achieving the highest marks in general and restorative dentistry. Prior to embarking on his dental career, he completed a carpentry trade and served as a Combat Engineer Officer in the Australian Army, experiences that instilled in him a meticulous attention to detail and strong leadership qualities.

Throughout his career, Dr Small has gained extensive experience practising in various regional and metropolitan areas across Queensland and New South Wales. He specialises in all aspects of general dentistry, with particular clinical interests in complex aesthetic cases, restorative dentistry, and full mouth rehabilitation.
