Dr James Ting

Dr James Ting is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life, offering a reassuring and professional approach to healthcare. Dr Ting enjoys all aspects of General Practice, focusing on delivering holistic medical care that addresses both the immediate and long-term health needs of his patients.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Ting has developed particular expertise in several key areas of family medicine. He is highly focused on preventative health, working closely with patients to manage lifestyle factors and prevent chronic illnesses. His clinical practice also encompasses children's health (paediatrics) and men's health, ensuring tailored care for diverse patient demographics. Additionally, Dr Ting is skilled in performing minor clinical procedures, including minor skin lesion removals and both the insertion and removal of Implanon contraceptive devices.

Dr Ting obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently completed his specialist General Practice training in 2015. He spent a significant portion of his early career gaining valuable clinical experience in regional Victoria, particularly within the East Gippsland region, before transitioning his practice to Melbourne. Dr Ting is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing professional development.
