Dr James Soo is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Driven by a childhood dream to pursue medicine, he focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Dr Soo believes in building strong, respectful relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel comfortable discussing their health concerns in a confidential and reassuring environment. His practice encompasses diagnosing and treating a broad range of illnesses and injuries, developing tailored treatment plans, and coordinating care with other Medical Specialists.

With a broad clinical background, Dr Soo has developed key areas of interest that enhance his general practice. He is particularly passionate about diabetes management, including the treatment of hypertension and complex diagnostic care. Additionally, he has a keen interest in paediatrics, providing attentive and gentle care to children. His extensive clinical background also includes experience in general medicine, cardiology, respiratory medicine, oncology, endocrinology, and geriatrics, allowing him to manage diverse and complex health needs effectively.

Dr Soo completed his medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1994. Following his graduation, he gained valuable clinical experience working in various hospital roles, including as an Intern, House Officer, and Medical Registrar, where he completed rotations across multiple medical specialties. He began working as a General Practitioner in 1996 and transitioned to full-time general practice in 2000. Dr Soo achieved fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2004, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.
