Dr James Finkemeyer

Dr James Finkemeyer is a fully qualified Specialist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. Following qualification in Australia, Dr Finkemeyer undertook further training with international fellowships. This included a Microsurgical & Head and Neck Fellowship at Oxford University Hospitals, UK followed by a Craniofacial Trauma & Rhinoplasty Fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada. They also travelled to undertake a number of clinical observerships in Sweden, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK and Spain.

Dr Finkemeyer has authored a number of publications in international medical journals and presented at national and international conferences. Their practice encompasses many of the disciplines of Plastic Surgery while combining the aesthetic and reconstructive principles of their training. Dr Finkemeyer's focus is on surgery of the head, neck & face and has developed a particular interest in reconstructive surgery for patients suffering from facial palsy, and in rhinoplasty.
