Dr James Boyd is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning both metropolitan and rural settings, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families. Dr Boyd takes a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient receives personalised care tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Boyd graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in 2000. He has since achieved several postgraduate distinctions, including a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP). His extensive training is complemented by his previous work as a Visiting Medical Officer in a regional hospital emergency department, as well as his active involvement in medical education, where he has mentored GP Registrars and supported GP Supervisors.

In his clinical practice, Dr Boyd focuses on a wide range of general family medicine. He has a particular interest in chronic disease management, helping patients navigate long-term health conditions with proactive and structured care plans. Additionally, he specialises in men's health and skin cancer medicine, offering thorough skin cancer screenings and performing surgical treatments, including skin cancer excisions, to ensure early detection and effective management.
