Dr Indra Mohan

Dr Indra Mohan is a dedicated and highly qualified psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care to adult and older adult patients. With a clinical focus as a consultation-liaison psychiatrist, he is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based treatment plans. Dr Mohan specialises in managing a wide range of complex mental health conditions, helping patients navigate their recovery journeys in a supportive and reassuring environment.

Throughout his career, Dr Mohan has developed extensive expertise in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic illnesses. His clinical interests include the assessment and management of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia. He utilises a variety of therapeutic modalities, including supportive psychotherapy and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and is experienced in providing detailed psychiatric opinions and reports, collaborating with General Practitioners, and working as a Workcover Provider.

Dr Mohan completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in Kanpur, India, in 2000. He went on to qualify as a psychiatrist in 2004, obtaining his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Psychiatry and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). Additionally, he is an Accredited Member of both the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry and the Faculty of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
