Dr Imran Khurshid

Dr Imran Khurshid is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad background in family medicine, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals across all stages of life. Dr Khurshid adopts a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on both the treatment and prevention of illness to promote long-term physical and emotional wellness.

Dr Khurshid completed his medical education at the University of the Punjab, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He later expanded his clinical practice internationally, working in rural general practice in South Africa before relocating to Australia. In 2002, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, he holds a professional membership with the Gold Coast Medical Association (GCMA), reflecting his ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

In his daily practice, Dr Khurshid addresses a wide range of medical needs, with particular expertise in geriatrics, chronic disease management, and family medicine. He has a strong interest in laser therapy and laser acupuncture, utilising these modalities to assist patients with pain management, chronic sinusitis, menopausal symptoms, and assisted infertility.
