Dr Iman Hegazy

Dr Iman Hegazy is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides comprehensive care for children from birth through to adolescence. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she is committed to supporting families through every stage of their child's development. Dr Hegazy enjoys all aspects of neonatal, developmental, behavioural, and general paediatric care, ensuring that each young patient receives personalised and compassionate medical attention.

She has a particular interest in helping new parents navigate the early challenges of parenthood, offering expert guidance on newborn settling, infant feeding, growth, and weight gain. Additionally, Dr Hegazy is highly passionate about managing childhood allergies, including asthma, eczema, hay fever, and food allergies, and is actively pursuing advanced postgraduate studies in allergic diseases. Her clinical expertise also extends to addressing toileting issues, managing developmental and behavioural concerns, and helping families coordinate with allied health and disability services.

Dr Hegazy completed her undergraduate medical degree and postgraduate paediatric training at a leading university in Egypt, where she also obtained a Master of Paediatrics and Neonatology. Upon relocating to Australia, she completed her specialist training in general paediatrics across major tertiary paediatric hospitals in Sydney, culminating in a paediatric fellowship. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and holds membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the United Kingdom.
