Dr Ilya Hubczenko

Dr Ilya Hubczenko is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, whole-patient care. Dr Hubczenko completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide, qualifying in 1991. Driven by a passion for family medicine, he went on to complete his postgraduate training in General Practice, obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993. He remains an active member of the professional medical community, continuously updating his knowledge to deliver the highest standard of evidence-based care.

Throughout his career, Dr Hubczenko has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about asthma management and was instrumental in establishing a pioneering asthma clinic to improve patient outcomes. In addition to respiratory health, his areas of expertise include chronic disease management, geriatric medicine, and aged care. He also advocates for the therapeutic benefits of humour and laughter in medicine, integrating a warm and positive outlook into his daily practice to enhance patient comfort and recovery.
