Dr Ie-Wen Sim

Dr Ie-Wen Sim is a highly qualified Endocrinologist and Andrologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of endocrine and reproductive health concerns. With a clinical focus that spans general endocrinology and male reproductive health, Dr Sim is dedicated to delivering personalised, evidence-based treatment plans. He works closely with patients to manage complex hormonal conditions, ensuring they feel supported and reassured throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Sim has a particular interest in reproductive endocrinology, male fertility, and androgen deficiency. His expertise also extends to metabolic bone disorders, such as osteoporosis and osteopenia, as well as the management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and adrenal and pituitary conditions. Additionally, he provides specialised care for endocrine conditions that arise during pregnancy, helping to support both maternal and foetal health.

Dr Sim graduated from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as a Bachelor of Medical Science. He completed his advanced specialist training in endocrinology at several leading metropolitan health services, followed by a clinical fellowship in andrology and reproductive endocrinology. Dr Sim is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical research and education, serving as a Lecturer and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at prominent universities.
