Dr Bush holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Prior to embarking on his career in medicine, he qualified and worked as a Physiotherapist. This professional background provides him with a unique and highly valuable foundation in musculoskeletal medicine, enhancing his ability to diagnose and manage physical injuries and movement-related conditions.

In his clinical practice, Dr Bush maintains a broad interest in all aspects of general medicine.
