Dr Hyun Ko

Dr Ko is a German and Australian board-certified Radiologist. They practice at Epworth Medical Imaging and hold affiliations with the University of Melbourne and the University of Bonn in Germany.

Dr Ko has completed specialised fellowships in breast imaging in Melbourne, imaging research in Toronto, and paediatric radiology in Heidelberg, Germany.

Their research focuses on radiomics to discover predictive imaging biomarkers. They are an active member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists Advisory Committee and the German Roentgen Society Working Party Methodology and Research.

Dr Ko is passionate about mentoring and supporting emerging radiologists and believes multidisciplinarity and inclusiveness are key elements for equitable progress and impact.
