Dr Harold Jacobs

Dr Harold Jacobs (often known as Dr Harry Jacobs) is a dedicated and highly regarded General Practitioner based in Noosa Heads, Australia. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Jacobs is passionate about all aspects of general medicine, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals and families. Known for his warm, caring nature and clinical competence, he is committed to fostering a reassuring environment where patients feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Jacobs has accumulated a wealth of clinical experience. He spent a significant portion of his career practising as a General Practitioner in North Queensland before relocating to the Sunshine Coast. Although he officially retired from full-time practice in 2011, his dedication to community health remains strong. He continues to serve the local community as a Locum Relief Doctor, offering vital support and relieving sessions for colleagues whenever required.

Dr Jacobs holds a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is accredited as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Alongside his clinical work, he has a deep passion for medical education. He previously served as a GP Academic Teacher in North Queensland, where he was responsible for training GP Registrars and medical students. His academic contributions continue through his role as an Adjunct Associate Professor at James Cook University, reflecting his ongoing commitment to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
