Dr Geoffrey Askin

Dr Geoffrey Askin is a highly distinguished Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Bowen Hills, Australia, who specialises in adult and paediatric spinal surgery. Widely regarded as a leading authority in spinal deformity and complex spinal reconstruction, Dr Askin has dedicated his career to improving the lives of patients experiencing complex spinal conditions. Dr Askin obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland, graduating in 1979. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Askin is deeply committed to medical education and research. He has served as an Adjunct Professor and Associate Professor, contributing significantly to the training of numerous Spinal Surgeons through dedicated fellowship programmes.
