Dr Gemma Winkler

Dr Gemma Winkler is a consultant Rheumatologist dedicated to providing thorough and considerate care based on current medical evidence. They graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. In addition, Dr Winkler holds a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Newcastle. Dr Winkler completed physician training at Prince of Wales and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals, undertaking rural placements in Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour and Wagga Wagga.

Dr Winkler has a keen interest in research, presenting both nationally and internationally at Rheumatology and Dermatology conferences. They are interested in all aspects of general rheumatology, with a particular interest in inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disorders and vasculitis.
