Dr Freya Schmidt

Dr Freya Schmidt is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Schmidt completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1986. Demonstrating a strong commitment to expanding her clinical expertise, she subsequently obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1989. She then undertook formal General Practice Training, successfully completing the Family Medicine programme in 1993.

Throughout her career, Dr Schmidt has developed key clinical interests in women's health, preventative care, and family medicine. She is particularly passionate about working collaboratively with patients to implement positive lifestyle changes that maximise their physical and mental well-being.
