Dr Eric Song

Dr Eric Song is a highly qualified Clinical Pathologist and Dermatopathologist who specialises in diagnostic and clinical dermatology. With a deep interest in the science of the skin, he focuses on the precise diagnosis of both benign and malignant skin conditions. Dr Song is particularly passionate about the integration of advanced medical technologies, such as lasers and energy-based devices, ensuring their safe, ethical, and evidence-based application to support optimal patient outcomes.

Dr Song completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) in 1997. He subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate training, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom and a Master of Philosophy by research from the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, Dr Song holds professional memberships with several prestigious organisations, including the International Academy of Pathology, the Australian Dermatopathology Society, the Molecular and Experimental Pathology Society of Australasia, and the American Society for Laser in Medicine and Surgery.
