Dr En'En Tong

Dr En'En Tong is a highly dedicated Geriatrician and Palliative Medicine Physician who provides compassionate, comprehensive care for older adults. With a dual focus on geriatric care and palliative medicine, she specialises in addressing the complex, multifaceted health needs of ageing patients. Dr Tong is committed to enhancing the quality of life for her patients, ensuring they receive patient-centred support that aligns with their individual values and health goals.

Dr Tong completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Medical Science. She went on to complete her specialist training in Geriatric Medicine in 2018. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, she is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine. Additionally, she holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education, reflecting her dedication to medical training and mentorship.

In her clinical practice, Dr Tong serves as a Consultant Geriatrician and a Hospital in the Home Physician. She is also actively involved in academic medicine, sharing her expertise as a Clinical Tutor at a prominent university medical school. Her clinical interests are diverse, with a particular focus on continence management, frailty, and advance care planning. Dr Tong is especially passionate about navigating the complex intersection between chronic disease management and palliative care, particularly for residents in aged care facilities, to ensure seamless and dignified care transitions.
