Miss Emily Nixon

Miss Emily Nixon is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a friendly, caring, and thorough approach, she ensures that each patient feels heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Miss Nixon enjoys all aspects of General Practice, offering holistic medical support to individuals and families across various stages of life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of medical areas, with a particular focus on women's health and children's health. Miss Nixon is highly skilled in performing skin cancer checks and procedures, as well as managing alcohol and other drug medicine. Her expertise in women's health includes early pregnancy care, the insertion of contraceptive implants, and providing medical terminations, allowing her to deliver tailored and supportive care to her patients.

Miss Nixon completed her postgraduate medical degree at Monash University in 2015. Following her graduation, she gained extensive clinical experience working across multiple medical disciplines, including emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and paediatrics. Demonstrating her commitment to specialised women's healthcare, she successfully completed the Certificate of Women's Health through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

Outside her clinical practice, Miss Nixon maintains an active and balanced lifestyle. She enjoys travelling, socialising with her friends and family, and keeping fit through yoga and indoor cycling. This balanced approach to her own well-being reflects her holistic philosophy towards patient care and healthy living.
