Dr Eman Awad

Dr. Eman Awad is a highly experienced Specialist Occupational Health Physician with a strong background in both public and private healthcare sectors. After establishing a solid foundation within NHS England, she transitioned into corporate and private healthcare, where she has served as Chief Medical Officer for several regulatory bodies and market-leading organisations. Her work has focused on supporting employee health, minimising occupational risks, and improving workplace wellbeing.

Dr. Awad holds membership with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians in London and is a Fellow of the Australian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She has a particular interest in the impact of stress and mental health in high-pressure environments, and she takes a patient-centred approach, emphasising connection and communication to support optimal health outcomes.

Her expertise includes a wide range of occupational health services such as health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, and drug and alcohol testing (RMO Certified). She is one of the few specialists in Victoria certified to assess for Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), and also has experience in managing blood-borne viruses in healthcare workers and evaluating environmental and occupational lead exposure.

Dr. Awad enjoys travelling and engaging with different cultures, which further informs her inclusive and holistic approach to care. She accepts direct referrals to support patients in achieving their best possible quality of life through evidence-based occupational medicine.
