Elizabeth Ringrose

Elizabeth Ringrose is a highly dedicated Physiotherapist who specialises in oncology rehabilitation and lymphoedema management. With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, Ringrose focuses on supporting individuals through pre- and post-operative cancer recovery, as well as palliative care. She is deeply committed to empowering her patients through education and early intervention, helping them to maintain their quality of life and navigate their recovery journey with confidence.

In her clinical practice, Ringrose offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Her areas of clinical interest include the early detection and long-term management of cancer-related lymphoedema, particularly in breast, head, neck, and limb cases. She provides specialised treatments such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage, compression bandaging, compression garment prescription, and MLS Laser therapy. Additionally, Ringrose utilises scar management, dry needling, and graduated exercise rehabilitation programmes, incorporating her qualifications in pilates, yoga, and hydrotherapy to support physical recovery and mitigate patient-specific side effects.

Ringrose has completed extensive postgraduate training to refine her expertise in cancer care. She is a Certified Pinc & Steel and Maple Tree Cancer Rehabilitation Therapist, and has undertaken advanced training in lymphoedema care. Her leadership in the field is reflected in her active professional involvements. Ringrose serves as the President of the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA), having previously been appointed as a Board Member, and has also served as a Member and Chair of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Advisory Committee for Cancer, Palliative Care, and Lymphoedema.
