Dr Elise Maree Wells

Dr Elise Maree Wells is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, family-orientated medical care. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life, from infancy to adulthood. Her practice is built on the core values of respect, integrity, and confidentiality, ensuring that every patient receives personalised and reassuring care.

Dr Maree Wells completed her medical education at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours, alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science. She subsequently completed her postgraduate training in Adelaide, obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Children's Health, reflecting her advanced training in paediatric care. Prior to transitioning into general practice, she gained valuable clinical experience working across several major public and tertiary hospitals.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Maree Wells has developed diverse clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health and children's health. Her expertise in women's health encompasses obstetric shared care, as well as the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices such as intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants. She is also highly skilled in general and preventative medicine, working closely with patients to manage chronic conditions and promote long-term wellness.
