Dr Eden Richards

Dr Eden Richards is an enthusiastic and dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, adopting a holistic approach to support the health and well-being of individuals and families. With a reassuring and professional manner, Dr Richards focuses on delivering high-quality medical care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, helping them navigate their healthcare journeys with confidence.

Dr Richards completed her medical training at James Cook University in Townsville, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She began her medical career gaining diverse clinical experience across various specialities in North Queensland hospitals. To further her expertise, she obtained a Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Dr Richards subsequently relocated to Brisbane to focus on primary care, successfully achieving her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Richards has developed a broad range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about women's health, offering specialised services such as Implanon device insertion and removal, as well as children's health. Her clinical focus also extends to skin cancer medicine, family medicine, and the proactive management of chronic diseases, including diabetes. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys cooking for family and friends, staying active through running and workouts, and spending time with her husband and her two miniature schnauzers.
