Miss Dina Shihata

Miss Dina Shihata is a registered psychologist and a member of the APS. They work with a diverse range of clients and presentations. Miss Shihata prioritises building strong relationships with clients by cultivating a warm and welcoming counselling environment. They believe that acceptance and empathy are essential for fostering emotional resilience.

Miss Shihata is particularly dedicated to working with adolescents facing challenges such as eating disorders, self-harm, interpersonal difficulties, and school-related issues. Their approach involves tailoring interventions to each client's unique history, current challenges, and aspirations for the future.

To achieve these goals, they employ various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Relational Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Schema Therapy, and trauma-focused interventions such as Somatic Psychotherapy.
