Dr. Dilshani Jayawardene

Dr Dilshani Jayawardene is an endocrinologist who trained at St. Vincent's Hospital and Eastern Health. Dr Jayawardene has an interest in all aspects of endocrinology. Research projects have included the artificial pancreas, hypoglycaemia assessment programmes and evaluation of real-time continuous glucose monitoring systems.

Dr Jayawardene has also published on cardiovascular disease in Type 2 diabetes. In 2016, Dr Jayawardene won the ADS/ADEA President Young Investigator Award and received a JDRF research grant award.
