Mr Dhanushan Giritharan is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive and compassionate care to patients across all stages of life. Throughout his career, Mr Giritharan has developed a broad range of clinical interests within General Practice and emergency care. He has extensive experience in managing complex medical needs, with a particular focus on Men's Health, aged care, and palliative and end-of-life care. Additionally, he has a strong interest in Voluntary Assisted Dying, bringing an empathetic and reflective approach to ethical decision-making in medicine. His diverse clinical background also extends to rural emergency settings, reflecting his ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care in challenging environments.

Mr Giritharan completed his medical degree at Monash University, qualifying in 2015. Driven by a passion for the ethical dimensions of healthcare, he also obtained a Master of Bioethics. To further expand his clinical capabilities, he is actively pursuing training to become a Rural Generalist and Expedition Doctor.
