Dr Dhananjay Pawar

Dr Dhananjay Pawar, affectionately known to many of his patients as Dr Jay, is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is committed to supporting individuals and families through every stage of life, fostering a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment. Dr Pawar believes in delivering holistic healthcare that addresses both the immediate and long-term wellness needs of his community.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Pawar has a strong clinical focus on preventative medicine, paediatric care, and Indigenous health. He is highly skilled in the management of complex, chronic conditions, including diabetes, asthma, hypertension, and cardiac issues. Additionally, his clinical interests extend to skin cancer management, wound care, comprehensive health assessments, and cancer screenings, such as breast, bowel, and prostate checks. He is also experienced in providing supportive care for veterans.

Dr Pawar completed his primary medical degree, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). To further his expertise in family medicine and child health, he earned a Diploma in Child Health (DCH). He is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his adherence to the highest standards of general practice in Australia. His extensive medical career spans clinical practice in both India and Australia, equipping him with a diverse and rich clinical background.
