Dr. Dean Yeh is a highly skilled surgeon specialising in laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, and general surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Newcastle in 2001 and completed his training in general surgery at several prestigious hospitals including Concord Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, and Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dr. Yeh has been a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons since 2011. Following his fellowship, he pursued advanced training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery for two years at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
Driven by his fascination with minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Yeh developed a keen interest in robotic surgery. In 2014, he furthered his expertise by undertaking an additional fellowship in robotic colorectal surgery at two renowned centres. He spent over 12 months training with Professor Seon-Hahn Kim at Korea University Anam Hospital in Seoul, South Korea, and with Professor David Jayne at St James University Hospital in Leeds, UK. During his robotic fellowship, Dr. Yeh collaborated with Professor Kim on a book chapter, titled "Robotic Approaches to Colorectal Surgery."
With his extensive training and dedication to advancing surgical techniques, Dr. Yeh brings a wealth of expertise to his practice, offering patients the most advanced and effective treatment options in minimally invasive surgery.

First time patient with Dr Yeh , what an experience it was ,a 5 minute consultation he did not even read my CT scan ( he said he would read it later) all he was concerned with was to get me in for a colonoscopy in 9 - 12 months time . I am on a Carers Pension, which they do not even recognise, so I did not benefit from that , I left totally disgusted, and ripped up the hospital forms .

Came in regarding a surgical consult that I'd been putting off for quite a while because of my anxiety- the Doctor was warm and friendly, definitely had me feeling more comfortable with what was required going forward. Everything was very clear and the staff at the practice were easy to talk to and finish processing my information!
Next go the front counter you can hear private work conversations. They need to be moved away.
I was very impressed with all the staff present. I had made an error with my booking but the lovely staff were able to find a time for me to Overall a very pleasant experience
