Dr David Tickell

Dr David Tickell is a dedicated paediatrician. Dr Tickell honed their skills through extensive training at the Royal Children's Hospital. Following their training, they gained valuable experience working in Albury-Wodonga. Driven by a passion for global health, Dr Tickell then made a significant contribution to the medical field in Malawi, Africa. There, they managed a large unit, addressing a wide range of tropical diseases, malnutrition, TB, and HIV.

Dr Tickell's commitment to medical education is evident in their role as a senior lecturer at both Deakin and Melbourne Universities. This dedication ensures that future generations of healthcare professionals benefit from their expertise.

Outside of their professional life, Dr Tickell finds joy in various activities. They enjoy spending quality time with their family and pursuing fitness endeavours.
