Dr David Rosen

Dr David Rosen is a highly regarded Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. Practising as a general Neurologist, he has developed particular clinical interests in stroke and vascular neurology, headache and migraine management, pain neurology, and neurological injury. Dr Rosen is dedicated to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care, ensuring that individuals receive thorough assessments and tailored management plans to support their neurological health.

Dr Rosen completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). He undertook his specialist neurology training at a prominent teaching hospital in Sydney. Dr Rosen is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting his high standards of clinical excellence and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Throughout his career, Dr Rosen has held several significant clinical and academic appointments. He has worked in regional areas, where he established a rural stroke unit and provided consultation services. He was also awarded a prestigious fellowship to work as a Consultant Neurologist at leading neurological centres in London. Upon returning to Australia, he served as a Clinical Lecturer and Director of Clinical Training at a major hospital, contributing to the development of specialised services in telemedicine, multiple sclerosis, vestibular disorders, and pain neurology. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Rosen has extensive experience in providing expert neurological medicolegal assessments and is an Approved Medical Specialist and Certified Medical Assessor for various workers' compensation and motor accident authorities.
