Dr David Liu is a Specialist General and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon. His practice spans across Melbourne's growing Northern, Eastern, and Western suburbs. Consultations take place at his primary offices located at Northpark Private Hospital,  Bundoora and Whittlesea Specialist Clinic, Whittlesea. Dr Liu attends to a diverse patient base, including private and uninsured individuals, WorkCover and TAC cases. His surgical expertise is also applied at Austin Health and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2007 with degrees in Medicine/Surgery and Medical Science, Dr Liu embarked on specialised training in General Surgery in 2011. This training took place at the esteemed Royal Melbourne Hospital and Austin Health. In pursuit of advanced skills in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, he underwent additional training through the prestigious AANZGOSA program at institutions like Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia and Austin Hospital in Victoria.

Dr Liu is a true specialist in various aspects of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, with a particular focus on the treatment of oesophageal and stomach cancers.
