Dr David Campbell

Dr David Campbell is a highly respected and dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare with a focus on musculoskeletal medicine, particularly within the MSK Hip & Knee Network. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he delivers high-quality clinical care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. His broad clinical interests encompass emergency medicine, men's health, skin cancer surgery, and paediatrics, ensuring that patients of all ages receive thorough and professional medical attention.

Dr Campbell completed his medical training at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1978. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of rural and general medicine, he holds several prestigious postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) and a Diploma in Child Health (DCH). He is a Fellow of both the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Campbell has made significant contributions to medical education and the development of the rural healthcare workforce. He has served in prominent leadership roles, including as a Past-President and the current Censor-in-Chief of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Additionally, he has shared his extensive knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals as an Associate Professor of Rural Medicine and Director of a regional university clinical school, where he focused on teaching emergency and procedural skills.
