Dr David Andresen

Dr David Andresen is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Clinical Microbiologist. Their areas of interest include evidence-based antimicrobial use, antibiotic stewardship, orthopaedic infections, and opportunistic fungal infections. Dr Andresen is also interested in hospital infection prevention and control.

Dr Andresen has further qualifications in tropical medicine, clinical epidemiology, and biostatistics. They are a Microbiology examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Dr Andresen also serves as a member of the Quality Assurance Program committee.
