Dr Thomas Kelly completed his medical education at Monash University, where he graduated with his medical degree. Following his graduation, he gained extensive clinical experience working for several years within a major hospital system, rotating through various medical disciplines with a primary focus on the emergency department, where he eventually attained a senior position. He qualified to enter General Practice in 1995, establishing a long-standing and respected presence in community medicine.

Throughout his career as a General Practitioner, Dr Thomas Kelly has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, including family medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative care. Outside of his medical practice, he is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys fly fishing, playing golf, and gold detecting. He also has a keen interest in harness horse racing, having spent many years as an owner and breeder.
