Dr Damon Jackson

Dr Damon Jackson is a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred cardiovascular care. With a focus on both general cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging, Dr Jackson is committed to helping patients achieve optimal heart health. He combines clinical expertise with a reassuring and approachable manner, ensuring that patients feel supported and well-informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Jackson graduated from Monash University in 2007, earning his medical degree with first-class honours and receiving a prestigious clinical school prize. He completed his internship and residency at a major metropolitan hospital, where he was recognised with awards for teaching and mentorship. Following his Physician examinations, he undertook specialist training in cardiology across several prominent health services. In 2015, he was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). To further refine his expertise, he completed a dedicated fellowship in cardiac imaging in 2016.

As a Specialist in Cardiac Imaging, Dr Jackson has a particular interest in non-invasive diagnostic techniques, including transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, and cardiac computed tomography (CT). He is also deeply passionate about medical education, actively training medical students and Junior Doctors. Dr Jackson translates these teaching skills into his clinical practice, taking the time to educate his patients about their conditions and treatment options. His relaxed yet thorough approach helps demystify complex cardiac concepts, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
