Dr Con Vasili

Dr Con Vasili is a highly skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in adult lumbar spine surgery, hip and knee replacements, and acute trauma presentations. Dr Vasili's practice locations include Lane Cove and Eastwood, where he sees patients, and he also serves patients at the outpatient departments of Ryde Hospital and Dubbo Base Hospital. He conducts surgeries at North Shore Private Hospital, Ryde Hospital and Dubbo Base Hospital

Dr Vasili completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 1995. He then pursued surgical specialty training through the esteemed Australian Orthopaedic Association, solidifying his expertise in the field. Dr Vasili later underwent specialised training in trauma and joint replacement surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Additionally, he honed his skills in adult spinal surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter in the UK. Dr Vasili became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2006. He also holds a Fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Following his training and accomplishments abroad, Dr Vasili returned to Sydney to commence his orthopaedic practice. He took on the role of Director of Trauma Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital for an impressive five years. During this period, he played a crucial role in the management and care of patients with acute spinal trauma at the hospital for an impressive eight years.
