Dr Claudia Higgs is a Specialist Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. They provide individualised evidence-based pain management with the goal of restoring function and improving quality of life. Dr Higgs is interested in all aspects of pain management, including minimally invasive procedural pain management techniques. Dr Higgs combines both local and international techniques with a holistic approach to pain management, carefully considering all contributing factors and working with patients to collaboratively devise a management plan. This may include education, medication management, interventional techniques, physiotherapy and psychology where appropriate. With their commitment to teaching, lifelong learning and keeping abreast of the latest evidence-based treatments in Pain Management, Dr Higgs is committed to delivering expert care for their patients.
