Dr. Chun Chong

Dr. Chun Chong is a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a dedicated focus on family medicine and bariatric care. Dr. Chong completed his medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007. To further his clinical expertise, he obtained a Graduate Diploma of Surgical Science from the University of Melbourne in 2020. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), having achieved this qualification in 2022. Additionally, Dr. Chong is a SCOPE-certified Bariatric Practitioner, accredited by the World Obesity Training and Accreditation in 2022, and has completed the HORIZON programme to remain at the forefront of modern bariatric treatment methods.

In his daily practice, Dr. Chong manages a wide range of general health concerns, from routine health checks and vaccinations to chronic disease management and acute illnesses. He has a strong clinical interest in medical weight management, obesity medicine, and perioperative care for patients undergoing bariatric procedures. Leveraging his surgical background, he also performs minor surgical procedures, including skin cancer surgery, the excision of skin lesions, ingrown toenail treatments, and contraceptive implant insertions and removals.
