Dr Christopher Thompson

Dr Christopher Thompson is an anaesthetist with a particular interest in neurosurgical anaesthesia and cerebral monitoring. They are interested in cerebral protection and anaesthesia for cerebello-pontine angle tumours, including acoustic neuroma, and other prolonged neurosurgery.

Dr Thompson is passionate about medical equipment design, particularly human interfaces and ventilation systems for modern anaesthesia machines. Their interest in information systems and interdevice communication has led them to research monitor and connecting medical devices to computers.
