Dr Christopher John Boynton

Dr Christopher John Boynton is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who brings a wealth of diverse life experience to his medical practice. Originally from East Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, Dr Boynton pursued a variety of professional paths before fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a General Practitioner. His early career included valuable work in aged care and supporting physically and mentally disabled adults and children, including those with autism. He also served as a Police Officer in the United Kingdom, experiences that have uniquely shaped his empathetic, patient-centred approach to healthcare.

Dr Boynton completed his Bachelor of Medical Science as well as his medical and surgical training at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Following his graduation, he gained extensive experience working across a diverse range of medical and surgical specialties in both England and Scotland. He returned to his native Yorkshire to complete his postgraduate General Practice training, subsequently working as a Locum General Practitioner. After relocating to Western Australia, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

As a vocationally registered General Practitioner, Dr Boynton enjoys all aspects of family medicine and primary care. He has developed particular clinical interests in mental health, chronic disease management, paediatrics, and both men's and women's health. Drawing from his prior professional background, he also maintains a keen interest in supporting patients with autism. Additionally, Dr Boynton is highly skilled in performing minor surgical procedures, including the assessment of skin lesions, cryotherapy, and skin cancer surgery, providing comprehensive and reassuring care to patients of all ages.
