Dr Chris Ahn

Dr Chris Ahn is a highly qualified Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who is dedicated to providing patient-centric care. Dr Ahn completed his medical degree in New Zealand before pursuing advanced surgical training. He completed his specialist training in plastic surgery in Sydney, obtaining his qualification as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. To further refine his skills, he was awarded the prestigious Morgan Travelling Fellow's scholarship, which enabled him to complete a dual international fellowship overseas. During this period, he gained invaluable subspecialty experience at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, and the Asan Medical Centre in Seoul, South Korea, training under some of the world's most renowned Plastic Surgeons.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Ahn specialises in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. He has extensive experience in complex reconstructive cases, particularly microsurgical breast reconstruction and head and neck cancer reconstruction. Drawing on his heritage and his advanced training in Seoul, Dr Ahn also has a special interest in Asian cosmetic surgery, offering specialised procedures such as Asian double eyelid surgery, jawline reduction, and Asian rhinoplasty. Beyond his clinical practice, he remains actively involved in post-graduate education, research, and the training of future Specialist Plastic Surgeons.

As a formally recognised Specialist, Dr Ahn maintains active membership in several premier professional bodies. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons.
